The Forest Kingdom Lipno, or Království Lesa Lipno, offers a fantastic outdoor adventure for families. It’s a large, nature-integrated playground made entirely of wood, catering to various age groups. Kids under 15, in particular, will find endless fun exploring the different areas, each designed with unique challenges and activities. Parents can relax at several seating spots around the complex, but since it’s quite expansive, it’s best to stay close to younger kids, especially on busy days.

Location
The Forest Kingdom is conveniently located at the exit of the main Rodinný areál Lipno cable car and is a short walk from the Treetop Trail Lipno. At the top of the cable car, you’ll find the Forest Kingdom to your right and the Treetop Trail Lipno to your left.
Address: Lipno nad Vltavou 307, Lipno nad Vltavou, 382 78, Lipno nad Vltavou.
Personal Recommendation: If you plan to visit also the Treetop Trail Lipno, I suggest starting there because it is less attractive and stimulating for children. Right after, you can head to the Forest Kingdom on foot and leave enough time for this activity.
What Can Be Found There?
At the Forest Kingdom Lipno, there’s no shortage of activities to keep kids entertained. You’ll find a variety of wooden and climbing structures, trampolines, zip lines, a maze, and even a petting zoo. Make sure to bring some coins for the animal food dispensers if your kids want to feed the animals.
There’s also a souvenir shop near the exit, so it’s a good idea to set expectations with your child beforehand if you don’t plan on buying anything. You’ll also find plenty of benches and places to rest, along with a food court offering a variety of snacks and meals.
How to Get There?
To reach the Forest Kingdom, park at the lot near the main Rodinný areál Lipno cable car. You’ll need to take the cable car up, but don’t worry, strollers and bicycles can be loaded onto the cable car. Once you exit, turn right and walk about 200 meters following the signs. The park is very close to the cable car exit.
Make sure to check the operating hours of the cable car on the day of your visit so you don’t end up stranded with small children. You cannot drive directly to the park by car; the options are walking (which can be challenging), taking the cable car, or riding the bus that runs up and down from the park.
If you’re considering renting scooters to go down the mountain, please note that this is allowed only for kids aged 8 and up, and it’s quite a challenging ride that requires some experience.
Who Is It For?
The Forest Kingdom Lipno is mainly designed for children and is perfect for families with kids of all ages.
