When to Visit?
The park is breathtaking in all seasons, even in winter. The best time to visit is in May when the park is in full bloom with beautiful pink and red tones. Check the park’s website for opening times and special events before your visit.

How to Get There?
Pruhonice Park is accessible by public transport from Prague:
Take the red metro line (C) to Opatov station.
Exit the station, go up two floors, turn right towards the bus stops, and walk to the last stop.
Take bus line 363 or 385 and get off at Pruhonice station after a 20-minute ride.
Head towards the large parking lot on the right; the park entrance is there. You can buy tickets at the booth on the right before the entrance.

Important Information about public transport:
Bus Frequency: Buses run frequently on weekdays, but only twice per hour on weekends and late evenings.
Tickets: The bus ticket crosses zone 0 in Prague, so ensure you buy the correct ticket from the driver.
Language Barrier: Most drivers and service providers outside Prague may not speak English. Be patient and considerate.
Alternatively, you can drive to the park and park in one of the paid parking lots outside.

The park is for walking only. No bicycles or rolling vehicles are allowed, except strollers.
Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash.
Use the restrooms at the park entrance as there are none inside.
Bring enough food and drinks as no restaurants or cafes are inside the park. Dispose of your trash in the green bins along the paths.

Blue Route – Short

Duration: 2-3 hours (can take up to 5 hours with children and breaks).
